"Where will I work? Who will employ me?" Majority of students at the university think about these issues; be it while they are still studying or before they begin to work. The answers to these questions are pretty simple: "Who seeks, shall find." Fortunately, The Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague makes the search easier for their students by organizing job fairs.
Compared to last year, where individual faculties organized the fairs, the Career Center of CZU this year will take on the responsibility of this task, which is housed in the rectorate.
Last year students were able to meet with potential employers at all faculties of the university. They could visit the 'round hall', where representatives of companies like Škoda Auto as, AGROFERT HOLDING, ExxonMobil and many others had their stall set up. This year, students can look forward to more than 15 university´s exhibitors and the accompanying program, consisting of 13 presentations from individual companies. Outside in the 'chill out' zone, students will be able to enjoy delicious non-alcoholic drinks mixed by bartender ACE from the 5-star Hotel Hilton, to drive a Segway or even try to win some interesting prizes (even a keg of beer). Last year, it was said that the presentations from the companies were very good, and according to the student's opinions the navigation around the fair was very simple. What could be improved? Increasing the intensity of distribution of information relating to the fair could definitely be a greater advantage. This could be done by means of addressing as many people as possible through posters, leaflets, FaceBook, web and led screens.
The job fair will be held on Thursday, 26. 2. 2015 from 10 to 15 o´clock at the faculties of Agrobiology, Food and Natural Resources, Economy and Management, Institute of Education and Communication and mainly in the 'round hall' which is the Faculty of Engineering.
